Typhoon

Typhoon haiyan destroyed part of the Philippines with winds of up to 315 kilometers per hour.
The response is the part where people cleanup, assess the damage, and provide emergency supplies.
The recovery is where people rebuild houses using coconut logs, people grow their own food from seeds, and some shops are re-opened.
Reducing the impact is where people use metal straps to keep their houses together, grow their own food, and need better access to water.
The readiness part is where people construct a shelter, improve the water lines, and store food and water.
